Build · Scale · Transform

I find the heartbeat of an organization. Then I build what makes it stronger.

I’m an executive builder who sees what an organization can become, brings people around that possibility, and builds the teams, systems and experiences that make it real. For 25+ years, that has been the pattern across growth, transformation, people and customer experience. I want to go build.

How I lead

How I build is distinctly human.

The employee experience shapes the customer experience, and business performance follows from both. I build culture as an operating system, not a program layered on top of the business, because the people doing the work are the ones who make the result real. That's as true of the systems and structure I build as it is of the people I build them with.

The proof

I helped build a $2.4B AUM platform.
Then I built Centricity from concept to profitability.

Two very different chapters. The same pattern: build, scale and create value.

Campus Advantage$2.4B AUMScale of the national real-estate platform I helped build and lead from its earliest days
Campus Advantage250K+Residents served across the platform over more than two decades, with a 45-47% returning-resident ratio in documented periods
Campus Advantage571 → 30,000+ bedsCompany history: from a single 571-bed property to 52 locations across 21 states within its first decade
CentricityConcept → profitableBuilt a sponsored joint-venture concept into a profitable shared-services business within two years
Centricity$400K → $4M10x sales pipeline growth in five months
Centricity~$1.2MDocumented client savings across health benefits and property accounting
~2,500hiring events supported at Centricity
40KAP transactions in a year
$41M+annual payroll and related expense administered across Centricity client companies
No client left by choicewhile Centricity operated

Campus Advantage figures describe the platform’s scale; I was part of building it, not its sole driver. Centricity figures are operating results I led directly as President.

25+ years, one throughline

Build. Scale. Transform. Serve.

01

Build

Started ResidentAssistant.com, became Campus Advantage’s first employee, and built its resident experience and People & Culture programs. At Centricity we built the legal framework and operating model from scratch.

02

Scale

Helped grow Campus Advantage, which reached $2.4B in assets under management, to about 700 employees across 40 properties. At Centricity, administered $41M+ in annual payroll and related expense for client companies of 5 to 400 employees, including about 2,500 hires in two and a half years.

03

Transform

At Campus Advantage, built a resident experience platform that reached 250,000+ residents and was later implemented internationally, plus frameworks that increased resident and staff retention.

04

Serve

When Centricity was wound down, we supported every client’s move to new providers and delivered final financials on the last day. Every client was successfully transitioned.

“He never views success as a finished product, there is always an opportunity to learn, innovate, and grow. Any organization would be fortunate to have a leader who combines strategic thinking with a genuine commitment to people.”

What drives me

I’m a first-generation college student, and the RA job paid my room and board. I saw lives changing in that role, and that is what drives me. When I’m not working, I’m often rowing at sunrise, spending time with my family, building something out of cedar, or volunteering.

What I’m looking for

The title matters less than the work. The work: organizations that need to grow fast, rethink how they operate, or build what's missing, without losing what makes them work, their people and their culture.

Meet Jerry, my agent.

Like the one in the movie, he has exactly one client, and he knows my career, my philosophy and the stories I tell. Chat with Jerry first, then have the real conversation with me.

How I built this

I’ve always been a builder. This site and Jerry started as a weekend on my iPhone, and the cedar pergola in my backyard went up with power tools. AI is another power tool: used with judgment, it removes friction and leaves room for the work people do best.

What are you building?

I’m an executive builder looking for an organization with something real left to build. If that’s you, let’s talk.
